Rio | Sideboard by Punt
The Rio collection is based on designers Sebastian Horkner fundamental design language working with honest materials and local craftsmen to achieve unique designs. For Punt he selected solid wood, structured glass, marble, textile and brass to create a collection of cabinets and lamps. Rio is about the balance of materials and the balance of proportions. Thin wooden frames and push to open doors with different inlays like structured wood are kind of bridge the two pedestals. The dialogue between all components creates a sophisticated character.
The Rio 300, 400 & 600 cabinets have in common that they are all placed on solid marble cylinders. They provide stability and grandeur in contrast to the precise and fine crafted cabinets on top. Rio 310, 410 & 610 without solid marble cylinders.
Rio is a sideboard made of of MDF fiberboards with natural oak and walnut wood veneer.
Features:
- Each module includes an internal tempered glass shelf with fixed in the middle.
- Matt marble top and totems.
- Oak or walnut solid wood doors and wavy tempered glass.
- Totem feet with integrated adjustable mechanism.
- Hinged doors without handles with 105º opening with hidden hinges.
- Salice hinges.
